The Main Event: Coconut Curry

Comforting and Deeply Medicinal

Sweet root vegetables, warming spices and creamy coconut milk create the perfect medicine for restless Vata energy. Choose a chicken or vegetable version - both served with cumin-scented basmati rice and toasted cashews.

Dessert: Cardamom & Saffron Rice Cream

What does 'Nervous System Food' actually mean?

Food that calms, grounds, and supports deep regulation - not just fills you up.

Warming spices kindle digestive fire without overstimulation. Sweet root vegetables ground restless energy. Coconut milk lubricates dry Vata skin and joints. One-pot slow cooking makes food easy to digest.

In each recipe I talk through why I have chosen what I have and why the ingredients, combinations and the way we prepare this menu supports a calm nervous system and helps to balance the Vata Dosha.

This is comfort food as medicine.
